This class is designed for the more independent preschooler. Students will actively explore balance, coordination, different ways of moving through space, and partner work. We use engaging stories, music, and poems to develop dances that utilize such concepts as space, levels, relationships, speed, and stillness.

In Class C, dancers continue to develop strength and agility with dance skills such as skipping, galloping, extension of the extremities, and focus. Their imagination is engaged through character-based stories to create dances that use a variety of formations and different groupings.

Ages 7 1/2 to 9 1/2
Dancers in Class D will continue to explore the foundational skills of space, relationships, levels, speed, and stillness in more complex ways. Students will be introduced to the composition process, in guided, situations to create their own class dance.
